With a strong foundation in athletic training and a passion for helping patients move and feel their best, Shira brings extensive education, advanced certifications, and hands-on experience to every treatment plan.

Shira is a proud graduate of Bacon County High School (1999). She earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training from the University of Georgia in 2003 then went on to complete their Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree at the University of St. Augustine in 2008.

In addition to her doctoral training, she holds multiple advanced certifications, including Athletic Training Certification (ATC), Manual Therapy Certification (MTC), Certified Integrative Dry Needling (CIDN), and Vestibular Rehabilitation Specialist (VRS). These credentials allow for a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to care—addressing everything from orthopedic injuries and chronic pain to balance disorders and dizziness. Shira's treatment style blends skilled manual therapy, dry needling, therapeutic exercise, and individualized rehabilitation programs to help patients recover from injury, improve mobility, restore balance, and return to daily activities or athletic performance with confidence.

Whether working with athletes, post-surgical patients, or individuals managing pain or vestibular conditions, she is committed to delivering compassionate, results-driven care.
